When should you consider foot surgery?
In many cases, foot and ankle pain that is chronic is resistant to traditional podiatric pain management treatments.
Our team will provide you with all of the treatment options that we determine to be ideally suited to your situation. Surgical intervention may offer you a long-term, and in many cases, permanant solution for your pain or limb deformity.
Ultimately, our goal is to reduce or eliminate pain and discomfort from your feet and ankles.
One in five people report foot pain, aching or stiffness, with a higher prevalence observed in females, those aged 50 years and over and those classified as obese.

Before Your Surgery
In order to prepare for a successful surgical procedure, your team will guide you through several steps in preparation for your surgery.
Your podiatrist will analyze and review your complete medical history, learn from you the medical conditions (if any) that you’ve dealt with previously, and get a comprehensive understanding of any and all medications that you are currently prescribed to take.
Your podiatrist may also order specific clinical labs such as blood workups, EKG, Blood Flow Analysis (for circulation effectiveness), Urinalysis, and Digital X-Rays. You should also expect your podiatrist to conduct a “walking” examination to gain insight into particular movements of your feet regular activity.
There are instances when your podiatrist may wish to consult with another medical specialist in order to better approach your treatment in relation to the test results we receive.
